Some Nicotine Replacements

We all know that smokers try chewing gum and patches to stop smoking, and many of those supplements fail. The reason why they fail is that they contain nicotine. This article will discuss the importance of nicotine replacement therapys for a successful smoking cessation.

Most smokers think that nicotine is the chemical that causes the comfortable feeling that smokers feel when they smoke a cigarette. This is not true. As a matter of fact the chemical that makes a smoking person feel comfortable is called dopamine. Dopamine is a so called "happy hormone" that the human body is able to produce, and all that nicotine does is, it stimulates the production of dopamine.

This means, that if we are able to find other substances that are able to stimulate the production of nicotine in our body, it would be easier for us to renounce cigarettes.

Well there’s actually many substances that are able to do the trick, but we are looking for substances and things that are safe and non-addictive. And still there’s a lot of stuff left.

Take for example hot food! Hot food is one of the best nicotine replacements in the world. Hot taste is no taste actually, it is a feeling of pain. Whenever the human body feels pain, it will start to release dopamine into the body as soon as the pain stops. It is exactly what happens when you are finished with a hot meal. It is something that you can do very excessive, if you like to, so if you like hot food, using it as nicotine substitue would be a good idea!

Another very good nicotine replacement is candy. Anything that is sweet releases dopamine in the body, as consideres eating candy a pleasure. This is something you must not overdo. Eating too much candy will not only reduce the nicotine substitution effect, it will also make you gain weight, so be careful with this one!

Another very effective nicotine replacement is sex. I don’t want to be offensive now, but it’s true – Sex releases even more dopamine into the body than nicotine can!

Other nicotine replacements are for example all kinds of food that taste delicious to you, you just have to be careful and not to overdo it, otherwise you will end up becoming fat! Try to take deep breaths everytime you feel the need to smoke! Just go and try to find things that you enjoy very much – you will see that many of them are able to ease the need to smoke.
